Teko Modise came to the premiership league scene in 06/07 season joining a Pretoria based side Super-Sport United. He caught the eye of Pitso Mosimane (currently Bafana coach) from the National First Division (NFD) side City Pillars. Teko was previously with the now defunct Ria Stars, also in NFD-then Mvela League. Teko made his mark when he joined top of the historic side: Orlando Pirates.
